More new (old) stuff!

As I mentioned a couple weeks ago, the Wells Fargo Corporate Archives receives new material from around the company, almost daily. We Archivists are happy to show off these materials from predecessor banks that have joined Wells Fargo.

Here are some items that are new to us—including a “spring toy,” a race car, a compass, a golf ball, and a “bean hound”—representing Wachovia and First Union. Enjoy!

  1. John Resso says:

Christy – I came across a plush toy (not sure how) that is definitely from Crocker Bank, but I could not find one like it on eBay or any collector websites. It is a blue and white dog, 8″ tall, with the Crocker Bank logo on its chest and front paws. No tags other than the “Made in China” tag. It bears no resemblance to the Crocker Spaniels that you posted in your March 2011 blog which I think I also remember from childhood! Is this blue dog something you have, or would be interested in having, in the WF archives?
