What type of cookie would you be?

“If you were a cookie, what type of cookie would you be?”

This was an actual question that was asked during a job interview. I am not sure I know the right answer to this or whether a right answer even exists! Many times an interviewer will ask questions like this to see how quickly and creatively you can think on your feet. A lot of us have been asked off-the-wall questions during an interview and wondered, “Why?”

What’s the toughest—or strangest—question that you’ve or someone you know has been asked during an interview? And what kind of cookie would you be, anyway?

    Hi Maurice,

I would be a chocolate chip cookie. Chocolate chip cookies are tried and true, classic, dependable and loved just like I want to be. What kind of cookie are you?

Thanks for the post Karen, I would say a basic sugar cookie. Because the cookie can change based on shape, added flavor and toppings. I have a good set of basic skills but I am very adaptable and can be succesful in many areas with the right grooming.
